22/07/24

Alpha Trains Group, a Luxembourg-based rolling stock operating lessor, has successfully raised €1.3 billion through a combination of rated private placements and bank debts under their existing common terms platform. The capital raised is designed not only to refinance existing debt, but also to unlock additional funds for strategic investments and growth initiatives, with a strong emphasis on financing green projects.

Our Banking & Capital Markets team, led by Cédric Raffoul (Partner), along with Jean-Baptiste Joannard-Lardant (Senior Associate), Maureen Bayart (Associate) and Elsa Becker (Paralegal), provided legal advice on all Luxembourg law aspects alongside Watson Farley & Williams, who advised notably on English law, and A&O Shearman, who represented the lenders.
