Covid-19 impact for our people, our clients and our community

To all of our clients and key stakeholders

The COVID-19 outbreak has been declared a public health emergency of international concern by the World Health Organization, causing a huge impact on people’s lives, families and communities.

First and foremost, we want to express our support to all those who may be affected by the situation and we hope that you and your families are all safe and well. At PwC Legal Luxembourg, our most important focus is the health and well-being of all our people and clients as well as their families and close ones. We are fully committed to take our responsibility regarding the management of the unprecedented challenge we are currently facing and willing to fully comply with all relevant measures that we are asked to take by local government officials and health experts and we will also leverage on best practices we see through our global network.

For the past weeks, we have been carefully monitoring the outbreak of the COVID19 and have anticipated the major disruptions that have emerged.

We have published, and we update regularly, here the main steps that we have initiated regarding our Events, Business Continuity Plan, quarantine and sanitary measures, travel recommendations and communications.

Besides such obvious measures to ensure the health and safety of all our close stakeholders, employees, clients and suppliers, we have also activated plans that allow us to continue to serve you, with a “business as usual” mindset, as much as that is possible. We are fully aware that many of our stakeholders are facing extremely tough challenges regarding workplace organisation, business operations, liquidity and supply chain issues - and we are equipped and willing to help where we can and where it’s needed.

Since we've joined the PwC network, PwC Legal have been investing in the past months in the best-in-class tools and technologies to be able to operate virtually. As of last week, substantially all of our employees are working remotely from our head office Crystal Park in Cloche d’Or.
Our teams have been specifically briefed to remain as close to our clients and key stakeholders as possible - on top of them reaching out to you, do not hesitate to call or email them should you have any questions on how we organise our work together, attending meetings remotely or any other matter of concern or of urgent need of assistance.

Until then, we hope that you will stay safe and healthy and we remain fully committed to providing you the best services today and at all times.
