Jean Valat

Jean joined the corporate department of PwC Legal as a Junior Associate in April 2020. 

Prior to joining the law firm, Jean gained experience in the corporate area by completing two 6-month internships in the corporate departments of McDermott Will & Emery and Reed Smith in Paris. He then started in PwC legal by completing a 6-month internship in the corporate department.

At PwC Legal, Jean is mainly involved in general corporate operations (incorporation, cross-border and national mergers, liquidation and migrations), in the context of which he assumes the preparation of the legal documentation, related legal researches and part of the coordination with administrations and clients.  Jean is also invested in M&A transactions namely in due diligence process.
